One of the things I loved about the movie, since it’s based on a real event, was that it wasn’t a buzzer beater, a penalty shot, or other last second miracle for the win.

The tension of needing to hold on for 10 minutes, counting the seconds and watching the clock tick down, was palpable.

I wish Hollywood would do more sports movies like that. Stories can be dramatic and riveting without it being an “it all comes down to this” moment.

Greatest hockey game ever played. It had everything that makes hockey great. Nothing tops the last few minutes of a one goal hockey game when both teams are playing desperate.

Best line of the movie “He put the best goalie in the world on the BENCH!”
