I may be being a bit too lenient but I give him a 6/10
Pluses
Getting a top 10 transfer class and some quality freshmen to come here to play after being handed a gutted roster
Improvements from the freshmen during the season
KJ' s performance
Minuses
SEC record
Not being able to get the best out of Adam Miller
Stubbornness in changing up the lineup
In game coaching especially when holding on to a lead
Pluses

F plus. No improvement and his recruiting currently is legendarily bad at the moment. It’s not about the wins and loses for me. I saw zero improvement from week to week.

Come on. Stop trolling. 6/10? If it’s out of 10 it’s a 2/10. There really isn’t anything good to say about him as a coach. He beat terrible teams in the beginning of the season at least so that’s the 2/10.

Lots of people in the basketball world had great respect for the work CMM did to put together this roster considering the exodus after Wade left. Bringing in a top 20 class recruiting along with KJ.
But to finish dead last and not be remotely competitive in 90% of the games is just terrible.

Whatever anyone says, this roster was not 2-16 bad. Glaring coaching deficiencies that got worse as the season went on.

2-16 and last place in conference with a shite offense and defense and bad upcoming recruiting class. Wonder how anyone can justify giving him anything higher than an F.

I’ll give him a D, walked into an impossible situation. Lost a few they should’ve won really. But ya, felt like the team made no improvement at all.

Even with that said I still think he deserves another year to see improvement, but if next year we are horrible agin he needs to go. Still wouldn’t be unhappy if he was to be let go at the end of the season even though I know that’s not gonna happen
