Troy Head Coach Larry Blakeney

We had him on the radio show yesterday and after talking with him I think he deserves a lot of credit for what he's done at Troy. His teams will play anybody, anytime. They aren't going to win most of those games but they will play the big boys. Last Season they played UF, Arkansas, UGA and OKST. This season they've played Ohio State, OKST and now LSU. They won't win all of those games but credit to them for playing them.

It was pretty cool when they took down Okie St. at home.

i have much respect for troy and their ball coach. i went to their football camp in high school. they had a LB coach Bolt at the time. he was a 500LB psycho. it was insane to watch him bounce around.

I respect the players of Troy for coming out against teams that are superior to them but we all know that they are making a lot of money to play these teams...it's a buisness.

There is no doubt that LSU is a very good team and their fans are very loyal. I am not trying to say anything insulting but Troy is still in the chase for their conference title and that is a credit to our Head Coach Larry Blakeney.

i actually went to troy when blakeney was hired. he is a great coach. he took the fall for dye at au when they got hit with probation. he will never talk b/c he was the only coach dye kept from the barfield staff. that has always kept him from getting a big time job. all tese other coaches have gotten second chances, but larry has never been able too.
they will keep it close for about 2 1/2 qtrs. they playing with their 3rd string qb who is pretty good. always have a sound defense.
