I know one guy from the New Orleans area who goes almost every year. But I've never seen him mention a contingent from the area. He meets up with a few friends from other parts of country.

You'd think Nola would represent well but maybe it's cost-prohibitive. Our artsy festival loving citizens down here aren't typically trust-fund "rebels" with expensive liberal arts degrees.
