I have said that since the beginning as well. As a fan, I’m not sure why what the player gets paid is any concern of mine

The facts of LIV , so far, are:

Players get rich
It has no real following or support and doesn’t look to be getting any anytime soon

If either of those statements anger you, you need to reflect on why

I should have comprehended better. I thought the comment I responded to said “more than he had won in his career.”

I stand corrected.

They have had quite a few wins on Tour, Korn Ferry and the LPGA.

Its not bragging. It’s a metric to show whether LIV is successful and or gathering any true support.

A big conversation is whether or not LIV could be a viable threat to the PGA tour. How else would you like to discuss that without bringing on ratings and revenue?

LIV is paying CW Network to air their tournaments.

Multiple published reports state that rather than The CW paying a rights fee to LIV, they will share ad revenue generated from the broadcasts. LIV Golf is also believed to be paying for productions fees, according to ESPN and SI.

Final numbers are out

LIV Mayakoba: Saturday 286K, Sunday 291K

PGA Tour: Saturday 1.61M, Sunday 2.38M

Get angry, attack personally, but if your opening event of the season can’t come anywhere close to one of the weakest events of your competitor, what does that say?

We get it. You don’t like LIV. You still follow it more closely than anyone else here. You don’t have to, you know. The LIV guys helped the pga guys get elevated events and helped Rory and Tiger get their team virtual league going. Be thankful.

LIV isn't trying to compete with the PGA Tour tho.

This is just a big frick you by the Saudis, nothing more.

This is a toy to play with by the Saudi Fund.

A second year tour getting over 10 percent of what the pga tour did on CW vs the tour on network television is pretty strong IMO. Again. Not sure why you care. You tell us everyone on LIV is a has been and nobody cares. Yet here you are.

By the way Korn Ferry had fewer viewers than LIV. That tour has been around what, 35 years?

You forgot the part where they are a second year tour with unlimited funding that bought some big names. I would think Norman and LIV wouldn't be happy with those ratings, but I guess with an open checkbook maybe they don't care either.

This is fanboy at it’s finest

“Bro, The XFL getting 10% of an nfl pre season game is a win”

No, not it isn’t man. You can like LIV. There is nothing wrong with that. But it’s an objective failure as a product.

It loses tons of money and doesn’t have support. There is nothing else to define it besides failure

Of course they don’t. Don’t know why you care either?

Better product than Korn Ferry if you are basing that upon ratings.

A tour with billions spent is bette than the feeder tour for the pga. Point taken

So please point us to a single post of you calling KF a failure.

Disagree. I love the KF tour. Some amazing golf at that level. I’m a big fan of watching golf, though. The more the better. We know you prefer limited options.

Golf was available almost 52 weekends a year. We didn’t get more. We got dilution.

There was no more hours of golf on my tv this weekend then before….

Weren’t you just saying the Honda was still a great tourney without the big names, or was that someone else?

You never flip back and forth between nfl games? One game at noon each week vs two means no more football than before, right?

Someone else. But honestly I’m happy with how the pga ended up. The designated events are awesome. I’m fine with how it turned out.

This “I hate LIV” angle is hilarious. I was fine if LIV “won” and took everyone with it. I don’t care who signs the checks for the players. I just wanted the best all competing against each other. Sucks we lost Cam and Dj and a few others, but overall the designated events make the end result a win for me personally.

All that said, LIV failed. It just did. It was a takeover attempt and it failed.

You make good points, but I am not sure how trying to compare KF to LIV is one of those.
