So a liberal politician can take over and control any company run by conservative leadership? Of well. America was a good idea when it still worked.

The Onion Loaf will take himself down. As each day passes, he gets closer and closer to it. All Desantis has to do is let him keep talking.
The problem though is President Nero will take his MAGA bitter enders, run as an Independent and give the White House to Gavin Newsom.
If he can't have it. No Republican will. He'll see to it.

Old enough to remember when govt punishing a company for their political beliefs was the opposite of conservatism

The entity existed with no problem for over 40 years. In fact the area Disney owns is far better maintained and serviced than the city of Orlando.
The threat was if they ever defaulted on the bonds then the surrounding parasitic counties that were benefiting from Disney might actually have to pick up the tab for some of the water, sewage, roads, etc. (As if Disney would make you drive through pothole ridden roads in Disneyworld).
So Florida said Disney you keep the financial burden, but we want to sit on our arse and now make you kiss the hand or we will delay every construction project for decades like most govt entities do.
Disney should have kept their mouth shut about wanting kindergarteners to be forced to read buggery books, and the state of Florida should have stayed out of Disney's business.
If Disney was so in favor of taking it up the ole....they will get it good when they realize the only way to fix their on line business is to give Musk a good chunk of the revenue to get access to his Starlink system.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)
