I dont remember where/if it waas stated. Did he have a history of drug use? OD seems most likely thing to me. I just dont remember where his history of drug use was stated or are we just assuming?

Plenty of people use drugs almost daily with "no history" of use. Unless you're popped with drugs or piss dirty most won't know.
