I lived within walking distance of there for 3 years and the thought never crossed my mind that it may have been unsafe at anytime of the day or night, but that was 40 years ago. It makes me sad to see what has happened to that neighborhood.

I loved in Tigerland in the late eighties. It was fine. Mostly students. Man, we’ve come a long way. After three semesters of living in a REALLY “secure” place in Burbank, my daughter just transferred mid year to another in state school. I was thrilled. Despite being an LSU alum, I HATED her being there. It’s out of control. At some point we’re gonna run out of places to go to escape the mayhem. At some point we’re gonna have to fight to restore order in this shithole of a country were becoming.
