re: Could the area between Downtown and LSU ever turn decent?

I used to live over there, someone came in and bought all that property there and knocked down all the houses. Problem is those werent the problem people.

The problem is that bit of area around aster and all that before you get to that stretch with the plantation. they have talked about putting a street car type deal for years and revitalizing that entire area.

From what it seems like they just fixed up that side of campus that used to be the married dorms, and didnt do anything for a couple of miles then built a water campus.
