So are you implying an extrapolation then from that 10% to all Germans in the timeperiod? FTR, about 17% of Americans were of German origin at that point.

Not even remotely accurate, the Nazi party got nearly 35% of the vote in 1932 or 13 million votes out of a possible 65 million total population which is 10% of the total population. By 1938, Nazi party membership numbered nearly 25 million or nearly 40% of 69 million people.
