You can spray the exposed studwork and such with Tim-bor. You will find it at domyown.com or locally. I suggest adding a marker dye to mark where you’ve treated.

+1 for Tim-bor or Bora-care. It's an inexpensive but effective barrier that's a no brainer for new construction. Spray the bottom plates and 2 feet up the studs. If you are unlucky enough to get a crack in the slab, the foraging termite will die from the boric acid exposure before alerting the rest of the colony.
