What is the future of LaTour? Is it private? Driving range??

It’s open to public. Played it about a month ago. Pretty nice course I thought.

Was open yesterday and today for $75 cart included. Normally only open Thursday-Sunday and costs over $100 with a cart. Usually in good shape and not heavily played anymore. Last time I went they didn't have the bar/restaurant still and no cart girl.

No more driving range.

Atleast there wasn't when I played it last year before it reopened to the public. Trey claimed people were stealing the range balls and didn't plan to reopen it. Sounded like a crock of shite excuse

Range is back open I believe. It wasn't when I played but I saw somewhere it's now back.

$110 green fees, no restaurant or food, range was open, course is in good shape, porta-lets on course look like someone just smeared shite all over the place. We were the only group on the course at 10 am on a Friday. They put up fencing around the entire course.

Employee told us “there isn’t enough demand to open the restaurant back up” and Trey has a plan. If the plan is to get that course shut down, he’s on the right track. Majority of those members are now at Ellendale, which is always busy now.

When u aren’t offering individual memberships (only corporate) and over charging on green fees, there won’t be much demand. Not enough homes in there to support a trailer building restaurant lol.

It’s a shame, a course with so much potential will end up down the tube.

I just drove through the neighborhood. There were maybe two cars in the parking lot. It’s beautiful weather and no play today. It may be time to rethink the long term plan.

I love the course but it can’t survive like this. The course itself is fine but at the price they charge with zero amenities its not worth the drive.

It’s a shame , this ownership has totally ruined this golf club, not to mention he is basically responsible for shutting down Sugarland golf club. In other words he killed golf for this whole area with his greed and poor management. Please sell to a descent investor.

Tidelands is full of good dudes. Even more attractive now because of Latour and its disfunction.

When the new owner took over passholders were made to believe things were going to improve and we'd all have a place to be proud of.

Not sure alienating an entire community of golfers/business people and other good dudes benefits anybody

In my opinion, Trey has never been about anyone but himself. He has always taken advantage of other's misfortunes. He has lied to the pass members; he has lied to the corporate members and has lied to the HOA. The only thing bigger than his ego is the barb wire fence he has put around portions of the course. I guess he is trying to prevent people from stealing range balls or planting zoysie grass.
