Louisiana 4 ball tourney

I’m looking for a list of four-ball tournaments outside the LGA tournaments. We play the LGA 4 ball but looking for more opportunities.

The course is in good shape but has potential to be much better. I hear people say IDA is reason for the course to be lacking the luster it had. The storm didn’t affect the property other than water on the course. The few trees that were knocked down had no implication on the playing of the course. The course was turned into a working compound. The reasoning behind the parking area converted to a city is unknown and no one’s business other than the owner and workers. Best of luck to the local community of golf lovers in getting a beautiful place back for their enjoyment.
Heading to Houma area. LaTour vs driving to TPC.. any opinions??

Ok.. thanks for the advice. I have broken 70 there but that doesn’t matter. I seem to have touched a nerve. LaTour was once a great course and still is but will not prosper with management/owner that is present now. Minimal play and membership is not ever gonna change. I apologize for this disagreement. I guess we will have to wait and see what the future holds for this course.

English Turn is in fantastic shape. I played there last week. Highly recommend for the price. I made the tee time on GolfNow.. less than $75!

I just drove through the neighborhood. There were maybe two cars in the parking lot. It’s beautiful weather and no play today. It may be time to rethink the long term plan.
