Eventually.
But it won’t be for treason, which, by definition, consists only of two things:
(1) levying actual war (not words) against the government, or
(2) harboring enemies/giving them aid and comfort

She's correct. 360 million people can't be governed by one government and two parties.

I agree that the federal government has to be greatly reduced in size and power. I am not convinced balkanization or a schism would be the answer. If you gave power back to the states, reduced the national influence of the government, it likely would result in a similar result that balkanization would have.

The difference would be that forced balkanization would likely eliminate the federal government's power all together, which would create defense and similar challenges that would be unintended.

The left attempted a coup with false Russian collusion propaganda and there were zero consequences. these same leftists turned Jan 6 into a violent insurrection and persecuted anyone they can find.

So yeah, I’d say one side has already started the divorce.
