I find it funny that we were the #1 seed in the West before our best 2 players were injured but now we want to fire our shooting coach, training staff, and head coach.

Maybe that's what that other poster meant about the doom and gloom, he may be right.

Its also possible that the #1 seed was a early season mirage, and that this is closer to what the team is. An average team that is low seed playoffs to play in, but has a player that can elevate them drastically (that never plays)

Congrats, you just named every team in the league

Warriors with no Curry/Klay? Pick 4th in the lottery

Warriors with a healthy Curry and returned but hobbled Klay? Win a championship

You aren’t going far in this league when your 2 superstars can’t play. The best you can hope for is a Jazz-like situation where you cobble together a ton of vet role players and luck into finding an undervalued top 30 player and become a play-in threat and spoiler team…until the organization realizes that’s problematic and begins shutting guys down to tank

It was not. It was Zion powered. He makes the game easier for everyone when he's on the court. Staying on the court is the problem.

That doesn't really make sense to me that the current team without 1 and before both of our best players is closer to what we are then we were with both? I can't buy that.

You could be correct that we maybe weren't the absolute best team in the West, but that's about as far as I'd go.

Our point differential suggested we were even better than our record, and point diff is a better judge of how good a team is IMO. It's proven to be a better indicator of future success.
