re: How easy is it to learn a new language ? And Rosetta Stone vs Babel

My sister (no pics) would religiously practice her Duolingo Spanish and can speak fluently after about 2 years. She practiced a lot in public settings (lives in South Florida, so most places were bilingual employees.)
