1982 Christmas union carbide had an unfortunate acrolien tank explosion. Toxic material. 35 thousand people were evacuated by midmorning. No on site or offsite injuries experienced. Material remains in broken underground tanks was properly combusted completely in plant boiler furnaces. Took a lot of intelligent work by the highly competant emergency responders.

Well dude, I don't understand your mutterings, but yes the vast majority of emergency responder are serious, committed, smart individuals. But blowing a hole in a tank of VC is woefully dumb.
