The local golf course by my house over-seeded with Yukon and Royal TXD. The groundskeeper told me the Yukon will eventually take over and was more drought tolerant. I think Yukon was developed by Oklahoma State. OSU also developed Tahoma 31 but that’s a hybrid and can’t be grown from seed. Those are the two I’d utilize from seed. I have Tifway 419 which is a hybrid, but those two seeded ones I mentioned look pretty damn good to me and certainly wouldn’t hesitate to put them in my yard. Seeded bermuda has come a long ways because a lot of it looks about the same as a hybrid.

He used Daniela II Bermuda for ours. I’m looking forward to having a lawn!

Royal TXD is a blend with Yukon, Bengal, and Mirage.

This is what I’ve used to seed most of my acreage to save some money from Arden 15 (now discontinued).
