Shepherd is a QB and Mcknight is a RB!

Once RS is firmly esconched at QB for LSU, the Tigers are going to rape some defenses. He's like a cross between Tebow and Harvin.

I would compare him more to Dixon, than Tebow.

They play two different positions.
Why is there a question mark? McKnight hasn't really done anything yet, so there is a very good possibility. RS is going to be a beast at LSU. His expectations are so high right now I hope he takes it as a challenge to live up to them.

MicKnight is a WR that thinks he's a RB!
..to the original poster, Shepard is quicker and has more lateral quickness and explosion than McKnight

I was comparing them as playmakers. RS is > JM.

I absolutely agree with this

My goodness. we will get the ball in his hands on nearly every play next year. I hope Lee knows how to hold a clipboard.

Gant Petty and Doug Planchard, IMHO

Wow. That's the first time I've seen him. He's unbelievably explosive.

I agree with that as well. BUt Dixon was pretty tall huh? What about a Pat White?

Does he have a good arm or is he just a running QB?
Posted on 11/11/08 at 12:29 pm to KLSU
He has a good arm. Some recruiting scouts have said he is in better shape throwing the ball at this point than Pryor was last year. One thing that's positive is the guy is super motivated and dedicated to getting better. He has worked LOTS with Jeff Blake to improve and has done so. His high school offense does not throw the ball much but he has showed the ability to make some great throws, especially on the move.

Great news! From everything I have read he seems to be a great person along with being a great talent.
Posted on 11/11/08 at 12:59 pm to KLSU
That's also true. He really is a one in a million recruit in terms of maturity, talent, work ethic, leadership and the list goes on. Unless something drastic/tragic happens, I and others here think he could potentially go down as one of the greatest Tigers ever.
