Fun thread. Mine were my moms old clubs from when she played in high school. They were Lady Macgregor irons with grips that felt like bald rubber tires lol. Putter was an odyssey tri force blade. My grandfather bought me a taylormade driver with a steel shaft that would be a 3 wood today. It was heavy as shite lol.
Funny how we all remember every detail about our first set. Crappiest clubs but something special about em.

Some of my non-golfer buddies always say "golf is too expensive" when in reality it's about the cheapest form of entertainment you can participate in. You can spend however much you want on clubs but you can get in for a pretty nominal fee. And a $50-60 four hour round of golf comes out to about $12-15 an hour of entertainment.
Now, getting good at golf is expensive. You gotta suck and practice a lot to get any good at it.
