I drove through there for the first time recently and thought of Francis when the speed limit on 190 suddenly dropped to like 35 with a well placed state trooper parked in front of that boudin place. Not today officer.

Speaking of boudin, a guy I went to HS with (coincidentally from Port Barre) opened a boudin place in Baton Rouge. Boudin Shack on Nicholson out on the way to U Club. It's pretty fricking legit.

I got some stuff from there when I went back for Christmas. He needs to get Tommy Tanks on an NIL deal. Tanks mentioned in an interview his favorite new food is boudin.

Bourque’s jalapeño cheese bread is the only reason to exit 190 there.
