He hasn’t taken any bargaining chip off the table. He’s created a strawman. He’s a lying corrupt piece of shite.
Has everyone forgot Rick Scott’s proposal?

Whether planned or not, he baited the Republicans and they went for it. Effectively nailed down commitment that SS&M won’t be touched, taking a potential bargaining chip off the table. Well played, to be honest.
What? It’s like you’re simultaneously unfamiliar with a traditional Democratic lie, unfamiliar with bumbling Joe’s unpredictable incompetence, and completely unaware of the fiscally sound view often promoted by Republicans.
Democrats lie when they say Republicans want to take SS benefits from seniors.
Incompetent Biden lied again. He was called out on it during the speech.
Bumbling Biden went off script and called for a standing commitment. Everyone who stood was being honest.
Republicans will still stick to their plan to ween people off of the SS ponzi scheme.

Republicans proposing to reform Social Security so it wouldn’t be bankrupted in 2010, is not the same as “cutting” social security

...is what you tell yourself to make Republicans proposing cuts to Social Security (and Medicare) not actually sound like that. Because even you, in all your ignorance, realize that's a very very bad position were it ever to become known past Fox News acolytes.

Scott's plan only asked for Congress to reappropriate the bill every 5 years.
It's called "Point Six/Government Reform/Debt".
There's nothing in it that cuts Medicare or Social Security.
Stop watching CNN and MSNBC.

You may want to check Scott's latest tweets where he confirms that he's an idiot.

This is correct. It was a plan to sunset all government programs every 5 years so that they could be reviewed fully. It was something Biden proposed in the 1990’s. People need to do their homework and not listen to 30 second sound bites all the time.
