People just want to rationalize reasons why it’s okay that they don’t want to change their unhealthy life choices, and will basically tell any lie they have to in order to maintain the status quo
This isn’t much different than the “healthy at any size” body positivity movement. It’s just overweight/obese people not wanting to change their diet and not wanting to up their caloric output.
