Myself and the wife just finished this last night because of a recommendation from this board. We absolutely loved it. The story and acting were top notch. We have too many irons in the fire so to speak when it comes to keeping up with multiple season shows, so we have been searching out limited series. I cannot recommend this one enough.

We just started it a few weeks ago and we did not know the general plot other than it was about a talented chess player.

The uh orphanage and amphetamines was an early twist for us

I have one episode left to watch and it’s been two weeks since I watched the last one.

It’s just not that interesting to me. I find it quite boring to be honest.

The chess scenes give too little information to be educational and go on for too long to be entertaining.

I agree with this, but I thought the show was outstanding. That would be one of the few things I would want to learn about in a show about chess. alajones2 and I watched this about a year ago, and it was amazing.
