I’m still not sure what y’all are specifically worried about here that a drone or satellite or human could provide in more detail, likely more discretely.

You goobers freaking out is probably the most impactful thing a balloon would specifically accomplish

It's optics. We are allowing a known spy satellite to operate without repercussions.

Just like the southern border, apparently our skies are wide open too
