Have you seen the price of food and bacon treats lately?

I bet they'll come and shoot my dog.
Maybe me too, and claim I was collateral damage.

My retriever identifies as one of my kids. They all act pretty much the same. Voila! Extra tax deduction.

Will your dog pay taxes at some point in the future?

Have your dog identify as a human and you should be good to go.

No, but neither will some people's handicapped children.
It was a joke anyway.

Dog food prices are going through the roof. And the cheaper brands are flying off the shelves. It leaves brands of simple dry food that costs $5 lb. Same as ground beef.

Egg prices are high but it's cheaper to break two raw eggs in the bowl and dogs love eggs.

It must suck for people to go thru life without any sense of humor. Or love of dogs to the extent that they cannot understand the perils of unaffordable bacon treats.

My dog weighs 8 lbs and could balance my checkbook in exchange for a lifetime supply of bacon strips. It is a blessing and a curse the power those things have

As soon as they recognize this trans-species crap I got 7 trans-humans as deductibles.

They just want to be seen!

If I identify as multiple personalities, can I write the rest of us off as dependents?

If you foster animals for a non- profit animal rescue group, you can write off some of your expenses. I recommend doing a long-term foster of a senior dog or cat. Most rescues just want to place them in homes and are willing to cover ongoing vet bills, hence "fostering".

Identify your dog as a trans child. Problem solved.

My company actually offers pet insurance, so why couldn't you have them as a dependent?

Same reason you can’t count the interest on a 2nd mortgage, you don’t get the full child credit for your 16 year old and your charitable donation deduction is capped!

The fricking Trump greatest tax cut ever! It was a tax cut for the wealthy, your little cut expires soon!

But the good news? Go buy yourself an airplane.., it’s deductible
