I'm surprised oak wilt hasn't got them already. My brother lost branches from his Cedar Elm and a live oak in far southwest austin from the ice.

Most decent tree guys won't cut from spring to mid fall to avoid oak wilt. We also seal, although I've read that doesn't necessarily help but who knows?
