I was just thinking about this. Every year i just donate my state refund to preserving our coast or whatever option you can select.

Does that money actually go to that? You can donate it to other things, like abuse victims, veterans, etc... But every year around tax time i wonder if that money actually makes it to the things you select to donate to.

If you want your money to really make a difference give it straight to the end user. Like find a veteran abusing women in the wetlands or something.
