It’s clear to me, Payton carried this franchise. The amount of stupid things done in one season since he left has surpassed the 15 seasons prior. It’s just embarrassing at this point. I used to think Loomis knew what he was doing but seems like he just got lucky with Payton.

Dude get Payton's nuts out of your mouth. All the draft picks waisted, the trade ups for defensive IR players like Davenport, being over the cap until my grandkids are even a thought, the quarterback guru never actually developing a fricking quarterback.
Besides the one Superbowl how was this better than the him Mora years?
Worse draft position, than you Payton maybe you could've have drafted mahommes, at least with Mora I didn't waste numerous Sundays because I knew they weren't going to make the playoffs.

frick off with this. Sean stroking Drew’s ego is what got us here. The only other player he ever developed at QB was Hill.
Payton did what was best for him and bailed on his own sinking ship before it could tarnish his reputation. frick that dude.
