I just finished day 3 of all I want for Christmas is a big bench. I read a bunch of y’all recommended the program so I decided to blindly give it a try. I’m liking it so far but have never saw a program where you hit one muscle group every day. So question one is- is this safe? I’m doing my best to eat and sleep as much as possible but it’s weird not having any rest days for that muscle group.

Question 2- you bench press every day. I’ve been doing flat bench every day. Are you supposed to switch it up? Incline one day, flat the next etc?

well this is a bench specialization program, yes its safe, but its not meant to be doen more than at most 2x in a row so 8 weeks. Aaron recommends running it the 4 weeks and then switching to something much more balanced

if he wants you to bench, he will list it as bench, if he wants you to incline, he will put incline

most people here enjoyed the program. its a lot and honestly if you are not expierenced I wouldnt do it. A bunch of us did it and where fine. a bunch did squatober where you squat 5x per week and we are all fine with bigger squats, same for deadcemeber.

Resting and getting your protein is highly important for all the PPSA programs.

I was very very hesitant before I did Squatober about squatting 5 days a week. But I was surprised to not only see I was able to do it with ease, but how strong I got. Same with deadlifts in Deadcmeber.

If PPSA wrote the program, it is a god program and follow along as prescribed.
