How am I supposed to "know tradition" when I wasn't alive in the 80s and 90s. It's literally why I asked the question. And wanting a DJ and a new age basketball environment doesn't mean you have to get rid of tradition.

Explains a lot, and I can’t blame you just for being young, but spend some time learning some LSU history. Watch old games and interviews, read some articles, develop some passion for the school if you call yourself a fan (not saying you’re not).

…and the idea that LSU still has a band and other big schools have moved on just to DJ’s is just factually incorrect. So watch some other teams play too while you’re at it.
