Wade did what all the other programs getting 4 and 5 star players have been doing for decades.
But he got caught. That is on him. He should be remorseful for getting caught, not playing the game, IMO.
Also, because paying players is now legal with NIL, he should have nothing else to be sorry about.
The next program to get him will have made a good hire, IMO.
Wade knows how to put together a sustainable winner.

If he wants to get hired again he cannot be the "ethics are BS" guy. It's that simple. He broke the rules flagrantly. He had no defense other than "everyone else was doing it". That allowed him, in his mind, to do incredibly stupid and unethical things like paying his players and prospects from his own account.
If he flagrantly broke the rules before, there's a big risk he'll flagrantly break the rules again, wherever the bar gets set.
If I were an AD, I would not hire him after those statements.
