Are we going to repeat the entire thread in which half the forum was completely unaware of the existence of Matthew 2:13-15? (not to mention the non-canonical Gospel of Thomas)

Of course Hank thinks Jesus is comparable to our immigration crisis. That tracks completely.

Why not? You repeat your unyielding support of the sexualization of children in multiple threads on a weekly basis.

Why?

Has this changed?

Matthew 2:13-15

Does not apply to the circumstances depicted in the advertisement. In that case, First, Mary was pregnant. Secondly, they were going to Bethlehem to pay their annual taxes. They were fleeing nothing. The ad intentionally misrepresents scripture. It ain't wise to mock God.

Matthew Chapter 2 recounts Mary, Joseph and Jesus fleeing to Egypt to avoid Herod's slaughtering of the firstborn sons.

However, the refugees crossing our border today are experiencing no such thing.

How did you arrive at the conclusion that half the forum was unaware of Jesus' family going to Egypt for a couple of years until Herod's death? Also, read a book probably 30 years called The Fifth Gospel which was the Book of Thomas. It was part of the Jesus Seminar (largely made up of Catholic priests from around the world) where they went through the red letter editions of the Bible and with beads voted on whether the red letter verses attributed to Jesus were, definitely said it, might have said it, probably didn't say it and definitely did not say it.
