Looks like the defense let em down vs cowboys... they scored 34 with 442 yards.
In our game, they were missing their best offensive player, lane Johnson. And our defense was pretty damn good down the stretch
They only had 2 games without hurts

They didn’t look so good without Hurts.

Correction: having a Qb on a rookie deal is the easiest way to win big. It was a big reason why Philly was so loaded in 2017. I still think they’re one of the deeper teams to win in the past few years. Great DL and OL, maybe top 3 at both that year. Had two good TEs, solid WRs and so much depth at RB and in the secondary. Wentz was having a great year, but got hurt. However, he was still on his rookie contract.
I think it’s the reason Loomis (I hope) is reluctant to blow it up. We don’t have nearly the roster we did as 2018-2020. But we still have some talent and if we landed Williams or Drake Maye and an offensive minded HC to mold them, we wouldn’t be far off from legit competing again. OL is solid. LB and secondary are in great shape (I believe in Taylor as our CB2 and when Marcus Maye played, he did well.) DL, RB and WR need work but RB and WR could be fixed quickly.

Probably a trend that will continue. A lot of teams that have taken QBs and had them be successful also traded or acquired a top tier WR/TE. Burrow got Chase AND Higgins. Allen got Diggs. Mahomes inherited Kelce while Tyreek developed. Hurts got Brown and a heisman trophy winning WR. Herbert inherited Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. Dolphins worked hard on pairing Tua with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle.
Hell, think about how LA and Tampa paired Stafford and Brady with Kupp, Evans and Godwin. It’s funny how 6-7 years ago every analyst and talking head said you didn’t need top tier WRs to win titles and they were mostly right. But times change and top tier WRs are not only the second biggest help for a rookie QB besides an offensive minded HC, they’ve also been on a lot of championship teams since 2016. They’re also going to be on a lot of championship teams in the near future.

That's a good point. Once the big contract comes for qbs, the supporting cast seems to get weaker and weaker

Because I applied his logic against his stated opinion and said it didn't make sense? Nice one.
Oh, and suck it.

No. Mostly because you are so juvenile in your language and approach.

Mahommes has always had weapons.
Mahomes just had a great game to get his team to the SB on one leg, his best weapon hurting, and 3 of his already mediocre wr’s going down.
