The allegations against Wade have not been proven true. Arbitration is still ongoing. The NCAA is likely afraid of Wade suing them. There is no telling what his lawyers will uncover in discovery about other coaches, other programs, and the very unequal nature of NCAA penalties. Besides, what Wade and all successful programs have been doing for decades is now legal with NIL.

It’s amazing how much this lie is parroted. It is still not legal for a coach to pay players from their own bank account. Wade was an idiot for doing that

Sums up what happen. Wade lawyers go scorched earth on the NCAA if they come after him because practically every good program was doing it and the NCAA was doing nothing. Woodward f’d up firing Wade and hiring Mister Rogers. Plus with NIL it’s like arresting someone for smoking weed 5 years ago in Colorado.
