I typically agree with the comply line of thought, but this case feels much different. From the very get go they were so verbally aggressive, conflicting demands, screaming over each other, and being physical with him. He could do nothing right, it escalated extremely quickly. I don’t blame him for running, I think he legit feared for his life.

Agreed, def feels different. Seems quite plausible that they knew the guy and were out for him. All I saw was reckless driving for the pullover then he fled. It fits superficially. 100% reserving judgment here.
