I live in New Iberia. I don't have anyone to drive me to Shreveport for surgery. I don't see how they can physically restrain me from leaving the day after surgery.

They can’t . If it’s at lsu they do have heavy heavy security though

I think after a day they will tell you to leave. If you're driving yourself, staying overnight will be enough for them to let you drive.

do they require someone stay with you during the surgery?
Or can someone show up once you are done in recovery and act like they will drive you?
