19 years old, experiencing stuff none of us have, highs and lows, love and hate. It comes with the territory I know, but you look at him, read his quotes, he is not happy with what is going on either. I hope mentally, he can overcome this, because as bad as it has been for him, there's something that has me feeling like he could still be a pretty good QB in the future. Not sure what it is, just a feeling. Could be way off. I hope people on campus, etc can understand this.

He's still a Tiger, wanted to be a Tiger from day one when recruiting started for him.

And before someone says it, no, I'm not his dad.

He made some very good throws yesterday too, but were dropped. 2 INTs werent his fault. He will get better

FWIW, he is asked to make passes that all DIV 1 QBs should be able to make. LSU is NOT asking him to win the games by himself. All GC is asking him is to make standard passes that a DIV 1 QB should make.

Awesome advice man...how are you not a coach?

I know I'm just spit-balling here, but, somehow, I'll bet that very thought has crossed his mind.

Why don't you do that. My point is this- for the people that bash the hell out of him, think a minute about when you were 19, or now even, and look at what you do for a living. Imagine doing that in front of the nation, having everyone point out how bad the mistakes you make are.

I was thinking of this last night after the game. It must be tough for Lee to attend classes during the week or just walk around campus. He is probably the most well-known unpopular guy on campus. Probably not getting a lot of high fives at this point in his career.

im gona guess he is saying 1 is the tipped up ball when he was hit as throwing. that was still lees fault though as he should have gotten rid of it sooner

One was on Byrd; he bubbled it and then got intercepted. One was that he got hit. If you watched the game, you'd see.

Not the point. He can't for whatever reason, make them at this time. Why would you ask him to do so? Running game is stellar. You can't ask Trent Dilfer to be Dan Marino. Dilfer would be a nice parallel, in the NFL. Won the championship at Baltimore by not making mistakes. LSU easily could be a one loss team if not for the picks. Scale it down.

I am a Lee supporter but this 19 yr old argument is getting old and pointless.

All QBs are in the 19-22 range. There are many 19 yr old QBs out there and many have played for LSU - and have played better.

Lawlz, the one he threw to Byrd was in the middle of the field sandwiched between two guys. He led him right into a defender, and Byrd got fricked up because of it and had to leave the field. He should have thrown that one WAY earlier.

The second one he just held the ball despite pressure. He could have thrown it away easily.
