No idea, these rules are too vague and have too many exceptions. That may have been right according to the rules. but it should be simplified. Did you control the ball with 2 feet down? yes then TD simple as that. This controlling it to the ground even if it is out of bounds is ignorant. But that is the way they want rules "vague" so they can control outcome of games.

Yes...not to mention being in the endzone. It should have been a TD IMO

I feel like the rule was intended for diving catches. Now if you go down voluntarily after 2 steps it’s analyzed
