Some of the things I have to work around being in Munich July 2nd and Pamplona sometime between July 7-9. Also flying out of Amsterdam and Paris are much cheaper than Munich or Barcelona/Madrid.

It's really only two long travel days between AMS-MUN and Pamplona to Paris. My kids will think taking the train is cool, at least the first time. Everything else is just like 3 hours.

I get that but IMO you are doing too much. To put it into perspective you are flying to NYC, going to Chicago, then going to Miami, then finishing in Atl. If someone asked you if that was a good idea in 15 days we'd say...

Trains are fun with kids...for 45 mins. Trains when not packed are nice because kids can get up and move. But trains with kids that are packed, suck. Just an fyi. A packed train isn't that much better then an airplane outside of its easier to board and you are city center, big positives certainly.

There's so much to do between Amsterdam and Munich its just crazy to go to Spain IMO. But it'll be an adventure for sure.
