I just went through this same thought process. I know pros are playing shorter shafts, but they hit the center of the face at 120mph.
If you’re hitting it all over the face, it’ll help.
If there are times when you square it up and hit a nuke, don’t cut it. Just practice.
I kept mine uncut and am glad I did.
