No they could not. Oregon St. has 2 corners that will play in the NFL, though I am not sure why you bring up a team that does not have a shot at the bcs nc game? That would be like me saying that Texas Teach would hang 60 on LSU or Minnessota, it's true, but it doesn't matter.

And you're still wrong about USC. Texas Tech and Texas are both better than them.

USC has given up 13 points in their last 5 games

I don't care who they are playing. That's impressive

Repeat that about 50 times until it sinks in. 5 games, 13 points

Another way to put is that USC has given up less points in our last 5 games than FLorida did last game vs. Vandy, or Auburn did vs Tennessee-Martin.

Not that I know of. I live in Belmont Shore now. There is at least one Indian place here on 2nd street. I never really been that much into Indian food.

Can we look at who those games have been against?

Teams that really aren't great. Yes Washington and WSU didn't score, but between the two of them..they have 1 win. That's all. I've seen a couple of USC fans say that winning 69-0 is a statment. It's just a statment of how bad the other team really was. If you would have beaten someone ranked or fairly good by that much, then yes, it is a good statment. Beating WSU and WU by that much doesn't say a thing. You can't convince me otherwise. In games where the other team has been decent, you've only one by like a TD or so...

Definitely don't impress me

USC's defense has been totally dominant, but the offense is struggling. To be fair, the Pac10 offenses USC has been shutting down the last 5 weeks aren't exactly juggarnauts.

UW is averaging 14 points per game for the season

WSU is only averaging 10 (not counting Portland State)

Arizona's offense has been clicking (39ppg), but they did get to beat up on WSU, UW, Toledo, and Idaho

ASU is garbage (but still averaging 21ppg), but USC did shut them out entirely

I would love to see USC play a Big12 team in the BCS, which is why I'm cheering for OSU to win the Pac10 so that we don't get a tOSU/USC rematch in the Rose but instead see USC go to the Fiesta to play OU/Texas/TT. The way the offense is playing I don't think you can say this is the best team in the nation

I realize you're a fat slob and all but that doesn't mean you have to be bitter.

Honest question, do you really think USC could go score for score against Texas Tech?

If USC could get there, it would be interesting to see them against a legit NC caliber team. They make their reputation beating up (except when they lose) on the Pac 10 and then get a Big 10 team in the Rose to set themselves up for more of the same the next year. Because of the Rose bowl tie-ins we rarely get to see then at the end of the season facing anything other than some bloated Big 10 team. I'd love to see them against a battle tested SEC team.

50-14 over SEC West Champion in 2006, 55-19 over Oklahoma in 2004 (2005 Orange bowl) 70-17 over Arkansas in 2005. all seem to disagree with you. We blow up non-PAC-10 teams with regularity. Those our are easier games.

I don't know. Texas Tech might be the team that matches up with them the best. I'd probably take Texas Tech in that game but it's really tough to tell.

Arizona St 3-6
Washington St. 1-9 Shutout by Stanford 58-0 btw
Arizona 6-3
Washington 0-9
California 6-3

2 decent teams, combined 16-30. Repeat that about 50 times. 35% winning record of opponents.
