My 2020 Ford Escape is over 3 years old now and I need to replace the battery. Any recommendations of battery brands and where to purchase in the Kenner area would be greatly appreciated.

Walmart, you can checkout at that back auto counter and not have to deal with the masses.

Everstart Max battery at Walmart. 3 year warranty and they have Walmarts everywhere. Also have the best prices.

Just get an AGM, more important than the brand

I don’t know if you have a dead battery or if it’s 3 years old and you feel it’s time to replace it, if the latter that’s a smart move. Average life of a auto battery in the south is a little over 3 years. The owner of my auto tech company has always been a strong advocate of just replacing the battery at 3 years. I started doing this about a decade or more ago, and since then I’ve never been stranded or inconvenienced somewhere with a dead battery. With todays autos, you get little or no warning a battery is about to die - fine today, dead tomorrow.

Owner of my service shop wrote this article Why Batteries Die

I also use the WalMart EverStart batteries, just get one rated for your car warranted for 3 years. As stated there only 3 manufacturers of auto batteries in the USA, regardless of the name/brand on the battery.
