Don't we have 4.5 to 5 Trillion in tax revenue? This is BS and should not be allowed to happen.
We aren't gong to run out of cash. This is fear mongering.

Then don't appropriate any money to restore them.

Well they have to rob Peter to pay Paul. They can't borrow to pay the interest, so it has to come from somewhere.

The problem is that they consciously make the decision to make the cuts as visible, obvious, and painful to the American people as possible. They should be using this "crisis" every time to desperately hunt for inefficiencies and bloat.

You cannot tell me that every single individual office and department in the federal government cannot find 10% of their budgets to cut without having any affect on actual output.

We shouldn’t have a debt limit anyways and I say this as a staunch fiscally conservative minded person. Pay for what you spend. But CUT SPENDING.

Remember when the budget sequestration of 2013 was going to kill millions?

Oh they can but wont, if they dont spend every dime they are afraid their budget will get cut the following year. When I was in the Air Force I was at a training base in CA. Being the training base in the latest time zone we were tasked with spending all the left over money each year. We always got new desks, chairs, couches, tvs, and anything else we wanted at the end of the year. My mom does the same thing at Redstone, spends every September and October booking out travel and training for her co-workers just to spend millions.
