BofA took $2k from someone and then told her she had to wait until February to get it resolved ?? Woman said she tried to go to to the physical location and they had a line around the corner! This BofA stuff feels more real with each passing moment!

And credit unions. Although, I am beginning to worry about a lot of them and whether they have been infiltrated and corrupted.

My BOA horror story.

I was getting ready to close on a house, had BOA on the phone for a totally unrelated reason and figured I'd have the lady on the phone xfer funds from savings to my checking account for when I wrote the check at closing.

Long story short, the funds left savings and never showed up in checking, (30K) for weeks. After missing closing and fighting BOA for weeks trying to find my money, they said i gave them the wrong routing number.

The money never left BOA! It simply was supposed to go from savings to checking.

Ridiculous. I wouldn't trust BAO with a big wheel and a power slide.

Journalism is a joke these days. That news report leaves more questions than answers.

They report that BoA says that the problem with accounts only pertains to Zelle transactions. The woman they are reporting about says she has $2k missing but she refers to that money as if it is her paycheck. The reporter does not tell us if that "check' was actually a Zelle payment.
They also do not mention that Zelle is owned by BoA, along with several other large banks. You can't really blame the problem on another company when you are also part owner of that company.
