Exactly.
We get good looks often enough but don’t capitalize and can’t rebound worth shite. This team is just not talented enough to hang with SEC caliber opponents.
McMahon did the best he could with the mess he walked into and the time he had. If not the team, McMahon still needs our support. Be mindful that this is a process and rebuilds take some time.

The sad part is that a lot of it has to do with basic shot selection. Watch the amount of forced/contested looks we will take instead of waiting for the right look to open up. It’s frustrating. Hoping the coaches make adjustments to fix this.

And boring! I find myself yawning during games. I never yawned during WW games. I can’t believe LSU basketball is this bad again. Very sad for season ticket holders.

This is all you need to know about how little talent there is on this team. That number is ABSURDLY low. At this level coaches shouldn’t have to teach layups. They can only put players in positions to make shots, which I actually think McMahon has done decently well.

But shooting 29% was so much better back then and Will Wade would give Jordy Culotta a good sound bite the next morning and make the rant posters feel good about life.
LSU finished 9-9 in the SEC last tear following back to back top 10 recruiting classes.
