It seems really important to you to be the TD expert on the PNW. You've even tried to tell me that I don't know anything about the town that I've been living in for 5+ years.

Someone else is arguing that raincoats are never a necessity and you come to that conclusion? Lol….

You’re the guy who suggests someone spend a full day in Sisters to someone on a 5 day trip when Oregon is a huge state with much more important places to visit with limited time.

It’s been evident to me you don’t know your area as well as YOU think you do. I’m sorry your butt hurt about that.

I’m not the authority nor do I care to be nor is it important to me. But I do have more knowledge about the area in my pinkie finger than you’ll ever have.

Now kindly piss off.

Where do you really live? Not the PNW it seems…. You suggest raincoats to an area where we don’t use them typically in civilization, nor umbrellas! Seattle gets rained on roughly 150-160 days a year, yet gets less than 40 inches of total precipitation! Do the math phony! Even when it rains hard, it usually lasts seconds, and if you are in civilization p, especially tourist Seattle, it’s a quick duck undercover.

I never said that anyone should spend a "full day" in Sisters. But what other town in Oregon is anything like Sisters? It's certainly worth a stop on the way to Bend.

No, it's not important to you, at all. You couldn't even keep up the charade for one sentence, before you're right back to acting like THE expert on the PNW.

You can get ice cream and a burger anywhere.

Meh. It’s a pass through town on the way to the real fun.

You should know this after 5 years.

I’m sorry a town known for speed traps excites you. The ice cream isn’t that good.

For someone visiting the big beautiful state of Oregon, Sisters is an hour stop at most. Mostly to stretch your legs if you go that route. It isn’t a town to advise someone with limited time to spend a day at.

But one of us actually knows a bit about the state and it isn’t you.

Do you know how to read? Compared to you dumbass. It’s clear you’re butthurt.

Again, piss off.

Whatever, dipshit. The population is around 3k in Sisters. How many people do you think are in that town on a given day? It's a tourist town and plenty of people go there to spend the entire day. But you're the fricking expert.

I think that it's your reading comprehension that is seriously lacking, Mr PNW. You say that being this PNW expert isn't a concern for you and, in the very next sentence, you're right back to claiming to be some kind of expert on the area.

No, I won't piss off. Kind of enjoying rattling your cage. Just stay on your side of the cascades. You wouldn't fit in around here.

I better cancel my camping plans.

I’d tell you the names of where I’m staying but you wouldn’t have a clue about them.

Good lord guys, get it together. I know a lot of people in the PNW are introverted and can be passive aggressive but no need for this nonsense. Keep the "you do you" attitude in effect and try to sway the OP towards your recommendations rather than shitting on each other.

To the OP, you got some good suggestions on the first page. What month are you visiting? If it's summer like I expect, there's a lot of street fair type activities that go on over weekends. Tons of breweries as well plus bars/restaurants. Any vibe you're looking for? Hipster, laid back, upscale, etc? Answering those questions should help guide the answers
