If Reese has a good game against SC, she should be player of the year, even if LSU loses.

Boston for SC isn't putting up huge numbers. I think the award is Angel's to lose, as far as SEC POY goes. She leads the league in scoring by 4.6 ppg and leads in rebounds by 6.0 rpg. Unless she has totally crappy games against SC and Tennessee, the award is hers.

LSU could also have SEC freshmen of the year in Flaujae, although its mostly between her and the Poffenbarger girl at Arkansas who is technically a redshirt freshmen.

I'm not so sure about that. I think Boston still has the advantage in that many still believe she is the best player in college and that her numbers are down because she's not called to do as much as last season. I DO believe Reese has a better chance of beating her for SEC POY, than National POY though.

Reese just started getting talked about in these awards discussions recently. It’s like everyone decided Boston is the best player so she will get the awards even though she is averaging 12/9.
