I always figured they’d use drones that way they can just get some soyboys in a room with screens and controllers to do it.

Could our military even defend our own bases within the country? They aren’t that protected. We have seen mass shootings on a base before, and most are not armed on base. Our active carrier groups and active equipment is usually overseas somewhere. Who is to say if things got bad, a few thousand civilians in trucks couldn’t overrun a base and take control of all the military equipment there? Even if we couldn’t use it all, it could be disabled.

What about defense contractors? How guarded are they? How easy would it be to storm a manufacturing facility and disable it? Blow up railroads and bridges to prevent shipping of materials? Attack the electrical grid?

There are ways to quickly level the playing field if it got to the point people have had enough and had some level of organizational leadership. I hope such things never occur, but it’s disingenuous to think it cannot be done because our military has great technology. That tech relies on parts, fuel, electricity, etc to function. All of which comes from inside the US. All of which wouldn’t be hard to sabotage if people really wanted to.

Then it’s just a street fight with rifles and civilans have the numbers
