Jeff Deblieux in Houma has some really good work but he was $760 and and year + turnaround I believe.

Those are very reasonable for the quality they produce respectively. Although I'd say Jeff's best work comes in the form of feathers.
No one in Houma commands $1000. That's absurd. He either doesn't like you, doesn't want your work, or somehow knows your cape is messed up and needs a new one.

I know this guy brings mounts to competitions and wins awards. Maybe that’s how he justifies the price.
